Automated Credentialing Module Helps Users Exceed ESAR-VHP Guidelines

Austin, TX April 21, 2008 – Today Global Secure Systems announced the availability of Credential Exchange™, a sophisticated automated credentialing module that helps public health departments to meet and exceed the credentialing standards set forth in the ASPR ESAR-VHP guidance. Credential Exchange enhances the ability of the Volunteer Mobilizer™ system to electronically communicate with credentialing organizations’ systems to verify medical provider status.

“State public health departments need access to a variety of credentialing organizations to adequately determine license, credential, and criminal status of volunteer medical providers,” said Weston Dillard, Vice President of Operations. “Credential Exchange gives them an easy-to-use automated tool to collect that information.”

An additional feature of Credential Exchange is the capability to electronically gather provider information from credentialing databases and auto-populate the Volunteer Mobilizer ESAR-VHP volunteer registration form. This eliminates the need for the provider to enter the data manually allowing for quicker registration of providers while minimizing processing errors.
