When an emergency happens, Global Secure Response Manager enables officials and first responders to be quickly notified of the crisis and continuously sent real-time situational awareness data via their office phones, cellular phones, pagers, Blackberries, and two-way radios.

Global Secure Response Manager’s unique access control model is the source of the system’s superior performance, robust security, and lower operating costs. This access control model governs what users are able to do – and not do – within the system. All permissions are given by the client to real-world functional roles, rather than to users or to a static set of generic roles. This approach is more secure, easier to audit and more intuitive to manage than any other solution.

The system’s access control technology enables clients to securely grant distributed alerting rights. For example, a user at the county or local level can be allowed to send alerts to neighboring county or local personnel but not statewide. Competitors’ solutions require that all alerts be sent by a small number of centralized users causing delays in sending alerts and limiting the usefulness of the system.

Access Other Applications

Additionally, this security model can be readily extended to control access to other applications. Administrators manage fewer directories, and users do not have to memorize multiple usernames and passwords.
